OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to help aspiring talent to develop in their technique and discipline. Full of the confidence that comes with knowing they’ve put in the work to improve themselves, our young people are equipped with the fundamental tools required to meet the demands of the entertainment business.

We believe, as you do, that in this current climate; discipline, confidence and self-belief are essential for an individual’s mental health, wellbeing and development. Fly High Workshops provide a safe and secure environment, with experienced professional running workshops that will complement the school term.

Meet Sophia

Sophia Sinclair is a London-based Actress and Creative. She regularly facilitates Drama workshops building self-esteem & confidence through improvisation, games, exercises, movement and mindfulness. Freedom of expression, self-love, discipline and fun are integral to Sophia’s workshop, silliness is always encouraged!

Fly High Workshops represents empowerment to Sophia and being able to gift others with the tools to succeed is why it’s important she’s a part of it.

Acting credits include: TV Footballers (BEN TV, SKY), News Revue (Canal Cafe), Love Thy Fro: The Musical (Theatre Peckham), The Rally (Stockwell Playhouse), Do You Know Where Your Daughter Is? Meet Carl

Carl Spencer is a London based Triple threat, An exceptional actor, vocalist and dancer whose natural talent enabled him to gain theatre credits such as Hamilton, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Motown the Musical, The Scottsboro Boys and many more.
 
Fly High Workshops are extremely lucky to have Carl, a facilitator as his expertise are through the roof.

Meet Chia

Chia Phoenix is a creative activist/ Spiritual Mentor, who has worked the arts, youth and criminal justice sectors. She uses her creativity to support rehabilitation in healing and understanding self in the community. An actress, writer and director passionate about changing the narrative and introducing young people to the art and importance of meditation.

Meet Dwayne

Dwayne Nosworthy is an all round entertainer including presenter and choreographer.

Dwayne first started dancing at age 17 after falling into it by accident and since has achieved many years in the entertainment profession he has appeared on stage with some of the worlds most successful artist for example Jamelia, Estelle, Sugababes, Kelly Rowland, Mariah Carey, Kellis, Misteeq Alesha Dixon and has also choreograph’s and Dances for Nathan aka “StarBoy Nathan” JLS,  & N-Dubz.

Dwayne is a Vibrant, Energetic Professional and his determination & Positive Attitude gives that special Edge that young people adore. Fly High Workshops are so excited to have him as part of the family.

Meet SHERINNE

A Dancer/Choreographer from West London, Sherinne has been performing professionally for many years and her credits speak for themselves: Bridgerton (Netflix), The Brit Awards (Rihanna / Drake / Sia / Cee Lo Green) Fela! On Broadway (NYC)… Choreographer: 27 Club (Germany) Glastonbury (La Roux) to name a good few.

Fly High Workshops has an admirable approach to teaching, Tanyas vision I believe is a game changer and so needed right now, Our Ethos speaks through every workshop and that is the very reason why I am so happy to be a part of this family.

Meet Garry

A Dancer, Singer and Actor born and raised in East London.
 
Garry has worked in the Musical Theatre industry for many years in shows such as Ghost the Musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and many more however has experience in many other parts of the industry. 
 
”Growing up I never thought it would be possible for a young boy living on a council estate to do what I’m doing now, but with persistence and hard work I have made my dreams become a reality”
 
”I am over the moon to be a part of The Fly High family as I have always wanted to give back to people like myself who have dreams of becoming a performer and that’s what I intend to do. It’s now time to share the knowledge and power that I have gained throughout the many years in the industry and give back to the next generation.”

Meet Maz

Marizia, better known as ‘Maz’ is an all round performer hailing from the London area.

Starting her career as a teenager right out of school Maz has worked with some of the countries biggest stars, touring with the likes of Robbie Williams, Ellie Goulding & Boyzone to contributing to multiple adverts and movie scores including the upcoming Marvel film ‘Black widow’, Marizia can boast a pretty exciting résumé.

FLY HIGH WORKSHOP’s holistic ethos to teaching have created an opportunity for Maz to share her experiences in the industry and personal insight into her craft with anyone looking to start a career in music. Her expertise lies in vocal harmonies & arrangements, so if you want to learn how to blend like ‘SWV’, Maz is the perfect facilitator for you!

Meet Leian

An Artist, Director & Storyteller who is very interested in identity, diverse and different walks of life.
 
Leian is drawn to untold stories and using his work to showcase unheard voices. His previous work includes collaborating with The Young Vic, The National Theatre (the assistant director of The Barber Shop Chronicles), The Donmar and the BBC.
 
Passionate about working with other creatives and helping them reach their full potential. Leian says ‘Fly High Workshops are an amazing organisation who share so many of my values, especially when it comes to taking a holistic healthier approach to working and creating, prioritising protecting mental and emotional wellbeing.

Meet cherelle

Having spent 6 years at the specialist & prestigious ‘Sylvia Young Theatre School,’ Cherelle began her career appearing as Young Nala in Disney’s West End Production of The Lion King. Shortly after, at the age of 13 she made my first film cameo in J.K Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix’ and then joined friends of hers to form the British pop band ‘EverYoung’.

Cherelle then continued her training at one of the UK’s most prestigious performing arts institutions, The Urdang Academy. This led to her return to the West End playing Mary Wilson of The Supremes & covering the part of Diana Ross in Motown the Musical, she can also be found gigging across the UK & internationally with well known renowned bands one being  Paloma Faith’s amazing band, The Faithettes.

Meet brian

Brian Henry is a Keyboardist, Musical Director, Music Producer, Songwriter and a Senior Lecturer in Performance. He is always keen to share his vast experience, inspire and mentor young people.

Currently playing keyboards for Grammy Award winning Band Soul II Soul. Over the last 15 years Brian talents have enabled him to work with both live and in the studio with some of the best recording artist in the R&B / Soul / Pop industry including: Natalie Cole, Omar,  Mica Paris, Laylah Hathaway, The SOS Band, Gabrielle, Donna Summer, J. T. Taylor (Kool & The Gang), Desree, Mark Morrison, Atlantic & Jon B and many more.
